Three things. Your system is specified from Daikin’s own selection data rather than a guess, it is installed and commissioned to the method their training sets out, and the paperwork that registers it is lodged correctly — which is what keeps the manufacturer’s warranty intact for its full term. A general trade can fit a unit; an authorised dealer and installer is accountable to the manufacturer for how it was fitted.

You deal with us, not a call centre. As manufacturer-trained service agents we diagnose and carry out Daikin warranty work ourselves, using genuine parts, so a fault does not turn into an argument between the installer and the brand. Anything outside the manufacturer’s cover is quoted before we proceed.

Ten years of workmanship warranty on our installations, alongside the manufacturer’s warranty on the equipment. Those are two separate things and the difference matters: equipment cover does not pay for a leak from a poorly brazed joint, a badly set condensate run or a bracket that was never rated for the wall it is on.

Capacity is worked out from the space, not the price list: floor area and ceiling height, glazing, orientation and shading, insulation, and how the rooms are actually used. Quotes diverge because an undersized unit is cheaper to sell and runs hard forever, while an oversized one short-cycles and never dehumidifies properly. Ask any installer to show you the numbers behind the kilowatt figure they quoted.

Yes — that is most of the North Shore and Eastern Suburbs. We plan the condenser position, pipe route and penetrations around what the building will allow, and we supply the equipment sound data, specifications and installation detail that strata committees and councils ask for. The approval is theirs to give; our job is to design something that earns it and to install exactly what was approved.

We will tell you which, with the reasoning. A repair makes sense on a sound system with a discrete fault and parts still available. Replacement usually wins once a unit is on an obsolete refrigerant, the compressor is failing, or the running cost of an old fixed-speed unit outweighs the install cost of an inverter one. We quote both where it is a genuine choice.

Your suburb and property type, roughly which rooms you want conditioned, ceiling height and any known constraints — strata, heritage, limited roof space, a difficult condenser location. Photos of the space and of any existing equipment plate help a great deal. That is usually enough for a firm indication before we attend.

We respond the same business day, and for urgent repairs we aim to call within a few hours — our hours are Mon–Sat, 7am–6pm. The person who quotes is one of our own licensed, insured technicians with 25+ years of combined experience behind them; we do not subcontract the install to whoever is available that week.
